Apple fans could be in for a colourful surprise next year. A fresh rumour suggests the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro will be available in four striking colours — black, dark blue, silver, and a bold new orange.

The leak hints at some interesting design choices. The dark blue will be so deep it might even look black under certain lights, taking inspiration from the Blue Titanium finish of the iPhone 16 Pro. The black colour is expected to be similar to Black Titanium but with a smooth matte finish. Meanwhile, silver will closely resemble the White Titanium shade, but with a slightly warmer tone.

The most eye-catching option? Orange. Apple may have taken cues from the bright orange Action Button on the Apple Watch Ultra. Described as “vibrant yet balanced,” this shade could become the new favourite for people who want their phone to stand out from the usual subtle colours.

Interestingly, Apple might also make a major change in materials. Reports suggest the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max could ditch titanium frames and return to aluminum after a few years of experimenting with stainless steel and titanium.

If you’ve been waiting for colours like green, purple, or sky blue, don’t worry. These could appear on other models like the iPhone 17 and a rumoured iPhone 17 Air. There’s also talk of a surprise colour option being revealed soon.

While these details are still unofficial, it looks like Apple is ready to shake up its usual colour palette — and orange might just steal the show.
