iPhone 17 Pro Max revealed in new Flipkart ad? Here’s what we know

Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale ads are usually all about discounts and celebrities, but this year, something else stole the show. In its latest promo video, a phone spotted in Farah Khan’s hand has set the internet buzzing, many believe it could be the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The three-minute trailer titled “Flipkart Big Billion Days – Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai!” is packed with stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Sreeleela, Anubhav Singh Bassi, Aman Gupta, Dolly Chaiwala and more. Yet, what grabbed everyone’s attention was the sleek white device Farah was holding. The phone had a long, horizontal camera module with three lenses — a design that matches leaked renders of the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Apple is all set to launch its new iPhone lineup on September 9, and leaks about the Pro Max model have been flooding the internet. The Flipkart ad appearing just days before the official launch has sparked debate — was this an accidental reveal, or a calculated marketing move to build hype?

Expected features of iPhone 17 Pro Max

If leaks are to be believed, the iPhone 17 Pro Max will be Apple’s most advanced iPhone yet. It could come with a large 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with 120Hz ProMotion for ultra-smooth scrolling and visuals. Powering it is expected to be Apple’s next-gen A19 Pro chip, paired with storage options that may go up to a massive 1TB.

The camera system could see the biggest leap. Rumors suggest Apple will include three 48MP lenses — a main sensor, an ultra-wide, and a periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. That’s a huge jump compared to the 12MP zoom lens on last year’s iPhone 16 Pro Max. Along with these, a LiDAR scanner, LED flash, and a sharper 24MP front cameraare also expected.

Apple is also likely to stick with the Camera Control and Action Button introduced earlier, with refinements to make them more useful. The device is expected to run iOS 26 out of the box.
