IT services company Infosys on May 29 said that it has partnered with the French Tennis Federation (FFT) to introduce several AI-driven innovations for Roland-Garros 2024 in partnership with French Tennis Federation.
Leveraging Infosys Topaz, an AI-first suite comprising services, solutions, and platforms using generative AI technologies, these innovations promise to revolutionize the digital experience for fans, players, coaches, and the media, the IT company said in a statement.
The following new experiences are slated to be launched this year:
-RG Gen AI Poster Challenge: Fans use Generative AI to create artistic renditions of RG Posters, with winners awarded tickets for RG 2025 edition.
--AI Bracket Challenge: Fans engage in predictive gameplay, forecasting match outcomes throughout the tournament, with auto-predict feature and access to 2025 match tickets for winners.
--New Symbol Room in RG’s Infosys 3D Art Museum: Imagine stepping into a virtual room that showcases all the iconic symbols and memorable moments from Roland-Garros history. This digital exhibit, accessible through the RG website, features lifelike 3D scans of memorabilia, interactive displays, and fascinating stories that bring the tournament's rich past to life.
--Split Screen Analysis in Players Portal: A tool designed to help tennis players and coaches understand their performance better. With side-by-side video comparisons and real-time analytics, this feature allows users to review their matches, compare them with past games or their opponents', and receive personalized feedback to improve their strategies and skills.

Infosys and FFT extend a STEM initiative, involving 30 students from Gerson School in Paris. The program offers hands-on learning at Roland-Garros, where students engage in workshops led by Infosys tech experts, fostering their understanding of technology's role in tennis and bridging the gap between theory and practical education.
Roland-Garros or The French Open, organized by the French Tennis Federation, stands out as the only Grand Slam tournament played on clay. The tournament is scheduled from May 20 to June 9, 2024.
