HP launches new AI-powered laptops in India across EliteBook, ProBook, and OmniBook series

HP has launched a new range of AI-powered laptops in India for enterprise users, startups, and retail consumers. The lineup includes refreshed versions of the HP EliteBook, HP ProBook, and HP OmniBook series, and comes with integrated AI features designed to improve productivity and performance.

Price and availabilty 

The HP EliteBook 8 G1i is priced at Rs 1,46,622, while the EliteBook 6 G1q starts at Rs 87,440. The ProBook 4 G1q is available from Rs 77,200. Some models like the EliteBook 8 G1a and EliteBook 6 G1a will be available soon.

For general consumers, the OmniBook Ultra 14” is priced at Rs 1,86,499. The OmniBook X Flip 14” starts at Rs 1,14,999, the OmniBook 7 Aero 13” is priced at Rs 87,499, and the OmniBook 5 16” starts at Rs 78,999. These can be purchased from HP World stores and HP’s online platform.

Specifications and features

The new laptops are powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra 200 V series, AMD Ryzen AI 300 series, and Qualcomm Snapdragon X series processors. Each device includes a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU), capable of handling 40 to 55 trillion operations per second, enabling advanced on-device AI features. These are Copilot+ PCs, meaning AI tools are integrated into the core system to assist users in real-time tasks.

The EliteBook and ProBook models are tailored for business professionals. They offer features like real-time noise cancellation, adaptive performance, video call auto-framing, long battery life, and enterprise-grade security. The models in this series include the EliteBook 8 (G1i, G1a), EliteBook 6 (G1q, G1a), and ProBook 4 G1q.

The OmniBook series is targeted at creators, freelancers, and general users. The laptops are designed for tasks like content creation, multitasking, and remote learning. Key features include AI-powered video calling enhancements, performance optimization, and seamless collaboration tools. Models in this series include the OmniBook Ultra 14”, OmniBook 5 16”, OmniBook 7 Aero 13”, and OmniBook X Flip 14”.

HP has also introduced AI-driven software features like HP AI Companion, which works offline to analyze files and assist with tasks, and Poly Camera Pro, which enhances video calls with multi-camera support and auto-framing. Other additions include audio tuning by Poly Audio and system optimization through the myHP platform.
The new lineup also focuses on sustainability, using recycled materials and eco-friendly packaging.
