Instagram, the popular social media platform, has introduced a new feature that allows users to infuse their Stories and Reels with personalised stickers crafted from their own photos. With the "Cutouts" feature, transforming regular images into dynamic stickers has never been easier. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to leverage this innovative tool to enhance your Instagram experience.

Before diving into the creative process, ensure that you have the latest version of the Instagram app installed on your device. Additionally, note that the "Cutouts" feature is currently undergoing a phased rollout. If it's not yet visible in your app, fret not—it will soon be accessible to all users.

Begin by opening the Instagram app on your mobile phone. Navigate to either the Story or Reel creation interface by swiping right from the home screen or tapping the camera icon located in the top left corner.

At the top of your screen, locate and tap on the sticker icon—an emblem resembling a square smiley face with a corner slightly lifted. This action will unveil the sticker tray, where various creative options await.

Within the sticker tray, search for the "Cutouts" feature. It may appear prominently at the top of the menu or alongside other sticker selections. If the feature isn't immediately visible, ensure your app is up-to-date and periodically check for its availability.

Select a photo from your device's camera roll that you wish to transform into a sticker. Opt for images with distinct subjects and clear outlines for optimal results. Once chosen, proceed by tapping "Use sticker" to incorporate it into your Story or Reel.

If the automatic selection isn't precise, tap on "Select manually" located at the bottom left corner. From there, you can employ your finger to delineate the specific object you wish to transform into a sticker.
