Global lifestyle and tech brand Honor has confirmed its participation in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona, Spain, as the company will host a keynote presentation on Sunday, March 2, where it will unveil the ‘Alpha Plan.’ While the company did not share any details about what the announcements could be about, it is speculated to be about artificial intelligence (AI) powered software-based enhancements for its products across various categories.

Honor's  ‘Alpha Plan': Key details

Through a new newsroom post, Honor detailed the AI-focused vision without revealing any details. The company is positioning itself as a driving force in AI-powered consumer devices, aiming to build an ‘open and collaborative AI ecosystem’ with global partners. This suggests that this technology will be unveiled for not only smartphones, but also for Honor’s wearables, smart home products, and other IoT devices.

The company also highlighted that the ‘Alpha Plan ‘will focus on creating an open and collaborative environment, which could mean that we could see an open-source community to be unveiled at the event. Through this initiative, Honor wants to build a “robust AI ecosystem”, which includes other consumer tech brands.

Honor's keynote session for ‘Alpha Plan’ will take place on March 2 at 4:30 PM CET (9:00 PM IST) at the Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower, on the sidelines of MWC 2025. For those attending MWC, the company will also have a presence at Stand 3H10 in Hall 3 at Fira Gran Via, where attendees can view Honor’s latest products.
