GTA 6 is eagerly awaited by fans worldwide. While the upcoming open-world RPG in the Grand Theft Auto series by Rockstar Games has got only its first trailer so far, the GTA 6 Trailer 1 has been dissected so minutely that we now know what locations, groups and even vehicles the open-world RPG is expected to feature in its huge world spread across the whole of the fictional state of Leonida, not just Vice City. In recent news, rumours about Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas getting a VR port have resurfaced.
In a recent statement on LinkedIn, L.A. Noire developer Video Games Deluxe shared that they were “working exclusively on projects for Rockstar” and they’d “commissioned some music from a local composer Freyja Garbett for a VR project” that they were working on a number of years ago when between projects.” L. A. Noire is an action-adventure game published by Rockstar Games in 2011.
Video Games Deluxe went on to share that the VR project is “based on a case from LA Noire that did not make the cut but was more of a tech demo than anything else.”

Now, some GTA fans think that this VR project mentioned by Video Games Deluxe is the rumoured VR port of GTA San Andreas. Others think that it could be a VR port of Read Dead Redemption 2 or even GTA V.
The Sydney-based game developer concluded by saying that they had no idea if the project will ever see the light of day but they’ve decided “to finish the score commission to support a local composer.”
GTA San Andreas features the character of Carl Johnson, who comes back to his neighbourhood after spending five years in Los Santos, San Andreas, and gets framed for homicide.
