GTA Online is set to get a significant expansion on June 17 with the launch of its new “Money Fronts” update. The update lets players take control of a sprawling money-laundering enterprise, adding a fresh layer of depth to the game’s criminal world. Players will be able to connect with longstanding associate Martin Madrazo and a range of new advisors to grow their operations and maximise profits.

The update’s main feature is the ability to acquire a series of businesses, starting from the Hands On Car Wash in Strawberry, which will serve as a low-profile base for the enterprise. Players will use these businesses to filter profits through a sophisticated network, adding a layer of discretion to their operations and allowing their income to appear entirely above board.

Once the Car Wash is up and running, players can expand their holdings by purchasing additional businesses. The Smoke on the Water dispensary and Higgins Helitours will act as supplemental fronts, adding depth and profits to the network. These businesses will also boost the profits from related operations, namely the Weed Farm and Air Cargo businesses, tying together a rich ecosystem of income streams.

As players grow their empire, they will need to manage “Heat”— the unwanted attention from authorities — and find ways to keep it under control by participating in missions and maintaining their businesses’ legitimate appearance.

The “Money Fronts” update is not just about operations; it will also introduce a range of new vehicles to aid players in their missions. Players can expect a collection of stylish rides, including the Karin Everon RS, Woodlander SUVs, and Declasse Tampa GT, adding power and prestige to their operations.

Furthermore, the update brings a range of gameplay tweaks and improvements, from making 50 additional vehicles eligible for Missile Lock-On Jammer, to adding skippable cutscenes on mission replays and doubling all sources of Arena Points.

The “Money Fronts” expansion drops on June 17 across platforms — PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC — adding a rich, interconnected layer of content to GTA Online.
