Google has rolled out a new memory feature for Gemini that will make your interactions with the chatbot feel more personal and efficient. With this feature, Gemini now remembers important details about your life and other details to provide more tailored and less repetitive answers.

Google’s Gemini AI memory feature: Key details

Google announced the new Gemini Advanced memory feature that can save information directly via conversation or the ‘Saved Info’ section. The company also released a new blog post, stating, "Get more consistent, predictable results without repeating the same details, maintain control over your data, and experience Gemini that seemingly integrates into your workflow."

Moreover, in the ‘Saved Info’ section, you can always see, edit, or delete your saved information to eliminate repetitive explanations if you want Gemini's help on a project that lasts more than one conversation. Gemini will also notify the users whenever it uses any information from that particular section.

The new memory feature is available in the English language currently with Gemini Advanced for subscribers of Google’s AI Premium Plan. However, the release is restricted to the web version of Gemini, and it doesn't work on mobile apps yet.
