Google will host its annual Made by Google event today, August 20, in New York City, where it is expected to unveil the Pixel 10 series. The lineup is anticipated to include four new smartphones — the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold — all powered by the Tensor G5 processor, developed in partnership with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC).
Where to watch the Google Pixel 10 event
The Pixel 10 launch event will be livestreamed worldwide on YouTube. In India, the broadcast will begin at 10:30 pm IST on August 20. Google has also confirmed a special India launch event on August 21, underscoring the company’s focus on the market.
What to expect from the Pixel 10 series
While Google has not disclosed full specifications, its promotional tagline, “Ask more of your phone,” highlights an emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI) and more intuitive on-device features. The Tensor G5 chipset is expected to deliver performance improvements and advanced AI-driven experiences.
The design language is likely to build on last year’s Pixel 9 series with minor refinements rather than major changes. According to reports, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be positioned as the flagship models, while the standard Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro XL will cater to different user segments.
Other product announcements
The event may not be limited to smartphones. Reports suggest Google could also unveil the Pixel Watch 4 and a new version of its Pixel Buds earbuds, further expanding its hardware ecosystem.
A recent leak on the Google Play Store briefly showcased all four Pixel 10 models, with three Pro variants in shades of gray and the standard model in Indigo Blue. The listing, featuring the phrase “Now available” and a promotional offer until October 13, indicates that sales may begin soon after the launch.
