Google is gearing up to unveil its next flagship smartphone Google Pixel 10 series, worldwide on August 20. The lineup this year is the most ambitious to date from the company, featuring four powerful models, including the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. All of these devices are set to bring notable improvements over their predecessors. Here’s a detailed look at what to expect from the upcoming Google Pixel 10 lineup.
Google Pixel 10 series: Expected specifications, features
In terms of design, the upcoming Pixel 10 series is expected to retain the aesthetic from its predecessors. All models are likely to be powered by the Google Tensor G5 chipset, said to be built on TSMC’s 3nm process, which is expected to offer significant performance improvements. However, the base Pixel 10 is likely to introduce a major change to its camera setup, as multiple reports have suggested the device will likely adopt a triple-lens configuration for the first time.
Moreover, all the smartphones are tipped to feature up to 16GB of RAM, with the Pixel 10 Pro possibly offering up to 512GB of internal storage, and the Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold likely to offer up to 1TB of storage. For photography, the Pixel 10 series will likely feature a 50MP Samsung GN8 primary camera, along with a 13MP ultra-wide and 10MP telephoto lens, alongside a 42MP selfie camera.
Google is also expected to introduce new AI tools with these smartphones, such as Speak-to-Tweak, which would let you edit photos with just your voice, and Sketch-to-Image, which turns basic art drawings or scribbles into AI-generated pictures. Further details about the smartphones are expected to be confirmed as we get closer to launch on August 20.
