Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold vs Vivo X Fold 5: How these two flagship foldables compare

Display
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold features a 6.4-inch OLED cover display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 3,000nits peak brightness. Inside, it features an 8.0-inch Super Actua Flex OLED display with similar brightness and refresh rate. Meanwhile, the Vivo X Fold 5 offers a bigger 6.53-inch AMOLED cover screen and an 8.03-inch foldable AMOLED inner display, with higher 4,500 nits peak brightness.

Design
Google has introduced a new gearless hinge on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which is reportedly twice as durable compared to its predecessor. It is also the first foldable to offer an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. In contrast, the Vivo X Fold 5 has an ultra-slim design and offers a folding mechanism with a carbon fibre support hinge. It also weighs less at 217 grams, compared to the Pixel’s 258 grams.

Performance
The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is powered by Google’s latest Tensor G5 chip, with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. In contrast, the X Fold 5 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, coupled with 16GB of RAM and a higher 512GB UFS 4.1 onboard storage. However, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold runs on the latest Android 16, while the X Fold 5 operates on Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15 out of the box.

Camera
Both foldables feature a triple-camera setup at the rear with a primary camera, an ultra-wide-angle sensor and a telephoto camera. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold has a 48MP primary camera, a 10.5MP ultrawide lens and a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom. The Vivo X Fold 5 gets a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto shooter with up to 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom, and a 50MP Samsung ultrawide camera, all co-engineered with Zeiss. On the front, Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold features 10MP sensors on both the main and the cover screens, while the Vivo X Fold 5 gets 20MP cameras on both displays.

Battery and charging
The Vivo X Fold 5 comes with a bigger 6000mAh battery capacity, with the Pixel 10 Pro Fold offering a 5015mAh battery. On the charging front, X Fold 5 takes the lead again with 80W wired charging and 40W proprietary wireless charging, while the Pixel 10 Pro Fold offers 30W wired and 15W Qi2 wireless charging support.

Price
The Vivo X Fold 5 is available for Rs 1,49,999 for the single 16GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration. Meanwhile, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is available for Rs 1,72,999, and is also available in a single configuration with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
