Google has launched Flight Deals, an artificial intelligence-powered feature inside Google Flights designed to help travelers spot the lowest airfare with minimal effort. Currently in beta and available in the United States, Canada, and India, the tool caters to people who are flexible with destinations and dates but focused on saving money.
How Google Flight Deals tool work?
Instead of manually setting filters, dates, and routes, users can simply type a natural-language request, such as “a week-long trip this winter to a city with amazing food, nonstop flights only” or “10-day ski holiday at a world-class resort with fresh powder”. Google’s AI then analyses the request, matches it to potential destinations, and pulls live pricing from its extensive database of airlines and booking partners.
This intelligent matching means travelers may discover destinations they hadn’t previously considered — but which still fit their budget and preferences. The results display available fares, airlines, and direct booking links, making the process both faster and more intuitive.
How to use Google Flight Deals to get cheap flight tickets
1. Go to Google Flights – Open the Google Flights website or search for “Google Flights” in your browser.
2. Locate Flight Deals – In the menu at the top left, select Flight Deals. You can also access it directly if you know the link.
3. Describe your trip – In the search bar, enter a simple request like “3-night beach vacation in September under ₹30,000, nonstop”.
4. Explore AI suggestions – Browse the destinations, prices, and airline options that Google’s AI generates for you.
5. Book your ticket – Click your preferred option to view details and complete the booking through the airline or travel partner.
The standard Google Flights service remains unchanged and continues to receive new features — including the ability to filter out basic economy fares on domestic US and Canadian routes.
