Flux.1, the newest artificial intelligence (AI) image generator, is sparking a lot of buzz across the internet and social media. Many posts with AI-generated images and videos from this software show hyper-realistic human faces and intrinsic details. Moreover, the physical traits of the human shots generated from this AI tool, include natural skin, hair, and wrinkles.
Created by Germany-based startup Black Forest Labs, a viral post on X, which shows the superb abilities of the AI model has close-up photos of men and women speaking as TED speakers with natural depictions of human faces. The new technology rivals other popular image generation tools such as DALL-E 3 and Stable Diffusion in AI image generation.
However, unlike these tools, Flux.1 is currently taking the lead in terms of photorealism. These images show that AI models are capable of creating fake people images, which almost look like any human. It also serves as an indication that the AI image generation technology is not only becoming increasingly sophisticated, but more realistic as well.
The Flux.1 is the latest flagship product of Black Forest Labs. This company is built by former researchers and engineers at Stability AI. Launched on August 1, FLUX.1 is available for users in three different versions. The Pro version is positioned as the premium option for professional and enterprise use, with the other two versions available for non-commercial use.
This latest model is built with a sophisticated architecture, which combines transformer and diffusion techniques to achieve a parameter size of 12 billion. It is much higher than previous Stability Diffusion models, which maxed out at 8 billion.
