Elden Ring Nightreign 1.01 update brings character improvements, balance changes and more

Bandai Namco has released the first patch for Elden Ring: Nightreign, bringing a host of gameplay enhancements, bug fixes, and stability improvements across all platforms. Version 1.01 (App Ver. 1.01 / Regulation Ver. 1.01.1) is now live for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam users.

The update introduces several adjustments aimed at refining the overall player experience. These include improved handling for playable characters, adjustments to the game’s soundtrack, and minor text corrections. Additionally, Bandai Namco has implemented balance changes to address gameplay mechanics and added new character scenarios to enrich the story and world-building aspects of Nightreign. The developers have acknowledged that some PC configurations using newer graphics cards may experience frame rate drops. This issue is under investigation. In the interim, users are advised to reduce their in-game graphics settings from “High” to “Medium” or “Low” and lower the screen resolution to help maintain smoother gameplay. Additionally, updating GPU drivers to the latest version may alleviate some of the performance concerns.
