The Airwrap Origin works using Coanda airflow, a technology that pulls hair towards the tool using air instead of extreme heat. This allows users to create straight styles, soft waves and smooth blow-dry finishes while keeping hair manageable and reducing the risk of damage during daily styling.

Powering the Airwrap Origin is Dyson’s Digital Motor V9, which spins at up to 110,000rpm. This high-speed motor creates the air pressure needed for controlled styling. Each attachment uses this airflow to shape hair gently, offering better control compared to traditional heat-based styling tools.
