Doom: The Dark Ages, id Software and Bethesda’s next game in the Doom franchise, will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam, Battle.net and Windows Store) on May 15. Doom: The Dark Ages is a prequel to 2016’s Doom and 2020’s Doom Eternal and takes players back in time to experience the origin story of the Doomslayer, the superweapon of Gods and Kings. If you have been meaning to play the dark fantasy first-person action game on your PC, here are the minimum and the recommended system requirements.

The minimum system requirements to play Doom: The Dark Ages on your PC are an AMD Zen 2 or Intel 10th Gen CPU @3.2Ghz with 8 cores / 16 threads or better processor (like AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or better, or Intel Core i7 10700K or better), 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11 OS, 16GB RAM, an NVIDIA or AMD hardware Raytracing-capable GPU with 8GB dedicated VRAM or better (examples: NVIDIA RTX 2060 SUPER or better, AMD RX 6600 or better) and 100 GB available space on your SSD.
Note that having an NVME SSD storage on your PC is a must to play Doom: The Dark Ages. According to the developers, the game should give 60 FPS in 1080p on low graphics settings.

As per the devs, the single-player action game should run at 60 FPS in 1440p on high graphics settings.
