Krafton has launched its latest Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) 3.8 update this week, filled with new features and a special Attack on Titan-inspired theme, which promises an enhanced experience for gamers. This update will also feature a Steampunk Frontier theme inspired by Attack on Titan, with secret vaults and crane loots, to railway-based combat.

BGMI 3.8 update: Key features

The highlight of the BGMI 3.8 version is the Steampunk Frontier Theme Mode, which is based on the hit anime Attack on Titan. It transforms the battlefield into the advanced steampunk city of Aetherholm and makes the gameplay more exciting. Further, there will be two new hot drop locations on the Erangel map, around the Shooting Range and Mylta, and they will feature high-quality loot and close combat action.

Moreover, two moving trains carrying special weapons and supplies will now be available within the landscape, offering players a new way to prepare for combat. Similar to Spider-Man’s web-slinging feature, the 3.8 update allows players to swing through regions, adding excitement and strategy to the gameplay.

A giant potion is also now available, which will transform players temporarily into a giant. Other small improvements, such as improved visuals, better lighting effects, new weapon skins, and smoother in-game transitions, are introduced with the BGMI 3.8 update.

Although the BGMI 3.8 Android update file size ranges from approximately 780 MB to 1.2 2 GB, the whole update, including all the resources, will consume about 2GB of space on a device.
