Asus launches new ROG Strix G16, Gaming A15 laptops: Price, availability and more

Asus has expanded its ROG gaming laptop lineup with new models of ROG and TUF series — Strix G16 and Gaming A15 respectively. Both laptops come with upgraded specs and a bunch of new features.

Price and availability

The ROG Strix G16 will be available at the starting price of Rs 1,99,990, and the TUF Gaming A15 at the starting price of Rs 1,24,990, both on online and offline channels.

Key features

The ROG Strix G16 is equipped with Intel i9 14th Gen 14900HX processor featuring a new hybrid architecture with Performance and Efficiency Cores. It is further powered with Nvidia RTZ 4070 GPU.  The Strix G16 also features ROG Intelligent Cooling Ecosystem for optimised performance.

In terms of design, Asus claims that the Strix G16 has been inspired by athletes. It features a professional esports-quality keyboard and comes equipped with Aura Sync accents.

The TUG Gaming A15 features a 15.6-inch display and is powered by AMD Ryzen R9 8495H Processor with Radeon Graphics (8 cores/16 threads) and up to Nvidia 4070 graphics at 140W max TGP. The laptop also features a MUX Switch with Nvidia Advanced Optimus support to reduce latency and boost performance by 5-10% on average.

Asus claims that the laptop can handle a high-power CPU as it features  a pair of 84-blade Arc Flow Fans that ensure up to 13% more airflow., claims Asus. In terms of charging, the laptop can be charged to 50% in 30 minutes courtesy of quick charge technology.
