Arattai has introduced a new feature that allows users to send custom stickers directly from their device collections, bringing functionality similar to WhatsApp. The update focuses on improving personal expression in chats by enabling users to use their existing sticker libraries without needing third-party apps.

The feature was announced via the platform’s official post on X, where the company highlighted support for “native stickers” — essentially stickers already saved on a user’s phone. This builds on Arattai’s existing support for custom and animated stickers within chats.

What the new sticker feature offers

With this update, Arattai users can now:

Send stickers stored on their device directly in chats

Access personal sticker collections without importing them separately

Use stickers in both individual and group conversations

Enhance chat experience with more personalised visual communication

This aligns Arattai more closely with WhatsApp’s sticker ecosystem, where users can already create and share custom sticker packs.

How to access custom stickers on Arattai

Here’s how users can start using the feature:

Open the sticker keyboard and tap the plus icon, then choose Add custom sticker.

Capture a new image or pick one from your gallery.

Edit the image by cropping, flipping, rotating, or adjusting its position.

Tap Save to turn it into a sticker and add it to your Custom stickers section.

The feature works natively, meaning users do not need to download separate sticker packs within the app.

Arattai has been positioning itself as a homegrown alternative to global messaging platforms, adding features such as end-to-end encryption, reactions, and media sharing tools over time. Stickers remain a key engagement tool in messaging apps, especially among younger users, and enabling device-level sticker access could improve usability and retention.

The addition of native sticker support comes as Arattai continues expanding its feature set to compete with established players. While WhatsApp still leads in user base and ecosystem, incremental updates like this aim to make Arattai a more viable alternative in everyday messaging.
