Apple has officially pulled the wraps off the iPhone 17 Pro, its most advanced iPhone yet. The device introduces a fresh cosmic orange colour option, boasts the largest battery in any iPhone, and debuts next-gen performance with the A19 Pro chip. From design refinements to pro-grade photography and video features, the iPhone 17 Pro is pitched squarely at power users.
Price and Availability
iPhone 17 Pro will be available in double the entry storage, 256GB, as well as 512GB and 1TB. iPhone 17 Pro Max will be available in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and for the first time, 2TB storage capacities. Available in cosmic orange, deep blue, and silver, iPhone 17 Pro starts at Rs 1,34,900 and iPhone 17 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,49,900.

What’s new in the design?
The iPhone 17 Pro sports an aluminium unibody build and is protected on both sides by Ceramic Shield 2 — the first iPhone to feature this material on the back as well as the front.
How’s the performance improved?
It runs on the A19 Pro chip, enhanced by a new vapor chamber thermal management system, allowing better sustained performance for gaming, video editing, and AI workloads.
What’s changed in the camera system?
The front camera now supports Center Stage and has been upgraded to 18MP. On the back, all three cameras are 48MP, with the telephoto lens offering 4x (100mm) optical zoom and extending to 8x (200mm) with Apple’s Fusion feature. Digital zoom reaches 48x.
What about video capabilities?
The iPhone 17 Pro introduces ProRes RAW capture and Genlock support, enabling precise synchronisation for professional film workflows.
