Apple has announced Apple Creator Studio, a new all-in-one subscription that brings together its professional creative applications for video editing, music production, image editing, and visual productivity. The new offering is aimed at creators working across Mac, iPad, and iPhone, and is positioned as a single entry point to Apple’s most advanced creative tools, along with new AI-powered features and premium content.
Apple Creator Studio builds on the growing role of Apple devices in content creation workflows, spanning video production, music composition, graphic design, and presentations. The company says the subscription is designed to make studio-grade tools more accessible while maintaining a strong focus on on-device processing and user privacy.
Creator Studio subscription details
Apple Creator Studio combines multiple standalone apps and features into one subscription, reducing the need for separate purchases across platforms. Subscribers get access to pro-level tools on both Mac and iPad, while also unlocking intelligent features and premium assets in Apple’s productivity apps on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
The subscription introduces several new AI-driven capabilities across apps. These include intelligent search tools in video editing, AI-assisted music creation in Logic Pro, and image generation and layout assistance in productivity apps. Apple has confirmed that many of these features run on-device, with select creative image tools powered by generative models.
Creator Studio also supports Family Sharing, allowing up to six family members to access the included apps and content under a single subscription.
Apps included
Apple Creator Studio includes Final Cut Pro on Mac and iPad, bringing features such as Transcript Search, Visual Search, Beat Detection, and AI-powered Montage Maker on iPad. These tools are designed to speed up editing workflows for long-form videos, interviews, and short-form content.
For music creators, Logic Pro on Mac and iPad gains access to tools like Synth Player and Chord ID, which use AI to generate performances and identify chord progressions from audio or MIDI recordings. The subscription also includes MainStage on Mac, allowing live performers to use Logic Pro instruments and effects on stage.
In creative imaging, Pixelmator Pro is now available on iPad for the first time. The app supports Apple Pencil, layered editing, smart selections, and AI features such as Super Resolution and Auto Crop. Motion and Compressor are also included on Mac for motion graphics and advanced video output workflows.
On the productivity side, subscribers unlock premium templates, themes, and intelligent features in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers. These include generating presentation drafts from text outlines, cleaning up slide layouts, creating images from text, and using Magic Fill in spreadsheets.
Price and availability
Apple Creator Studio will be available on the App Store starting January 28. The subscription is priced at Rs 399 per month or Rs 3,999 per year, with a one-month free trial for new users. College students and educators can subscribe at a discounted rate of Rs 199 per month or Rs 1,999 per year.
Apple confirmed that users who prefer one-time purchases can still buy individual Mac versions of Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage separately from the Mac App Store.
