Apple iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max to get Coffee, Purple and Burgundy colour options

Apple’s 2026 iPhone lineup is expected to introduce new colour options for the iPhone 18 Pro, including Coffee and Burgundy. The premium model will also feature Apple’s A20 chip, a redesigned camera system, and several software refinements with iOS 26.1.

The iPhone 18 Pro could debut in two new colour options — Coffee and Burgundy — as Apple continues to refresh its design palette.

Apple’s next flagship lineup may come dressed in new, warmer shades. According to a Weibo leak from tipster Instant Digital, the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro could be offered in Coffee, Purple, and Burgundy colours. These rich hues mark a notable shift from Apple’s typical metallic palette, with Coffee described as a deep brown and Burgundy offering a dark red-purple tone reminiscent of fine wine.

The leak also suggests that Apple will once again skip a traditional black variant, continuing a trend that began with the iPhone 17 Pro series. The current models are available in Silver, Deep Blue, and Cosmic Orange — a clear departure from the company’s earlier habit of sticking to monochrome finishes. If accurate, the new colours would represent Apple’s ongoing effort to make its Pro models stand out with more distinctive aesthetics.

The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to launch in autumn 2026, featuring significant hardware upgrades. Rumours point to Apple’s A20 chip built on TSMC’s 2nm process, which could deliver major performance and efficiency gains. Other expected improvements include a variable aperture main camera, an updated C2 modem for faster connectivity, and a simplified Camera Control button design aimed at improving usability.

Meanwhile, Apple is reportedly preparing the release of iOS 26.1, with its candidate version already available for developers. The public rollout is expected soon, likely in early November. The update is said to include a new “Liquid Glass” visual effect with added customisation options, as well as a setting under Lock Screen preferences that lets users disable the quick swipe gesture for the Camera app. Apple Music is also expected to get refined swipe gestures and smoother transitions as part of the update.

With the iPhone 18 Pro still nearly a year away, the reported colour leaks and software developments suggest that Apple is steadily refining both its design language and user experience ahead of its next major hardware cycle.
