Apple iPhone 17 Air has been into leaks and rumours for quite sometimes and latest leak has revealed that the slimmest iPhone might come with a major compromise when compared to the other regular models like iPhone 17 Pro Max. The leak suggest that the ‘Air’ could come with big battery compromise and might offer less battery life.

Supply chain leak yeux1122 has dropped a new post on Naver that reveals the battery capacity of the iPhone 17 Air and weight. The post suggest that the phone might come with 2800mAh battery.

Apple usually does not reveal the battery capacity of the iPhone. However, the iPhone 12 used to come with 2815mAh battery and a similar battery capacity in iPhone 17 Air could be a big compromise for many users.

According to the post, the iPhone 17 Air could only offer full day of battery life to only 70% of users as per internal testing. Considering, the system demand has increased over the years and with Apple Intelligence features that need even more battery to run, the battery capacity could be a deal breaker here.

Apple iPhone 17 launch

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 17 Air later this year in September. The ‘Air’ is also expected to replace the ‘Plus’ model in the iPhone lineup. Nothing has been confirmed officially, though. We advise you to take this as a pinch of salt.
