Almost a week after it was announced, Apple’s latest iPad is now available for purchase in India. The iPad mini is powered by the A17 Pro chip, which will ensure that all Apple Intelligence features will run on the smallest iPad.

Available in blue, purple, starlight, and space grey, the new iPad mini starts at Rs 49,900 for the Wi-Fi model, and Rs 64,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. The new iPad mini starts with 128GB of storage — double the storage of the previous generation — and is also available in 256GB and 512GB configurations.

iPad mini: Accessories

Apple Pencil Pro is compatible with the new iPad mini and is available for Rs 11,900. Apple Pencil (USB-C) is available for Rs 7,900. The new Smart Folio, available in charcoal grey, light violet, denim, and sage, is priced at Rs 6,500.

The iPad mini features an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display. The new tablet from iPad is powered by A17 Pro, which delivers impressive performance, as per Apple. There’s a a faster CPU and GPU, a 2x faster Neural Engine than the previous-generation iPad mini. There is a 12MP wide back camera, which supports Smart HDR 4 for natural-looking photos with increased dynamic range.

There’s a 12MP ultra wide front-facing camera in portrait orientation, with support for Center Stage.

The new iPad mini supports Wi-Fi 6E, which delivers up to twice the performance than the previous generation, so users can download files, play games online, and stream movies even faster.
