The A19 chip should make everyday use smoother, not revolutionary
The biggest internal upgrade is expected to be the A19 chip, replacing the A18 used in the iPhone 16e. Built on a more advanced 3nm process, the A19 is said to be around 5–10 percent faster in CPU performance. This won’t radically change how the phone feels, but apps should open faster, multitasking should feel smoother, and efficiency gains could help battery life over time.
