Amazon India’s Prime Day 2025 returns this July: Date, deals, and more

Amazon has officially announced the return of its annual Prime Day event in India, set to take place in July 2025. This will be the ninth edition of the Prime Day sale on Amazon.in, offering exclusive discounts and benefits to Prime members across a wide range of categories. The sale will feature deals on electronics, fashion, kitchen essentials, beauty products, and Amazon-exclusive items.

Prime Day 2025: What to expect

Amazon promises some of the year’s best deals during Prime Day 2025, available only to Prime members. The event will spotlight offers from trending brands, creator favourites, and independent sellers. Prime members can also expect fast and free delivery options, including unlimited free same-day delivery on over 10 lakh products, next-day delivery on more than 40 lakh products, and 4-hour delivery on 20,000+ items in select cities.

Amazon says it is working closely with both new and established sellers to ensure a wide selection of deals. The event will also feature curated offers from small and medium businesses, including women entrepreneurs, artisans, and weavers.

Prime Day across the globe

In addition to India, Prime Day 2025 will take place in countries including the U.S., UK, Canada, Japan, Australia, UAE, Germany, and France, among others.

Amazon Prime membership plans in India

Amazon offers three Prime plans in India:

• Prime Annual: Rs 1,499 (full shopping + entertainment benefits)

• Prime Lite: Rs 799 (shopping + limited Prime Video access)

• Prime Shopping Edition: Rs 299 (shopping benefits only, no digital content)

Members also get access to Prime Video, Prime Music, Prime Gaming, exclusive discounts, and 5% cashback via Amazon Pay ICICI credit card. More details about Prime Day 2025 will be revealed in the coming weeks.
