Airtel down: Calls, data and broadband services are not working for thousands of users

Airtel services are down across the country. As a part of the outage, users are unable to access mobile and broadband services.

Airtel services appear to be down across the country. Several users have reported facing issues with Airtel’s telecom services and with the mobile and broadband services offered by the telecom service provider. Users have complained about not being able to make or take calls, access data services, or even access the internet via broadband service.

Airtel outage details

According to the outage tracking platform Downdetector.com, approximately 46% of users faced a total blackout, 32% reported no signal, and 22% experienced mobile connectivity issues.

According to the platform, most reports are from Gujrat, Delhi, Jaipur, Surat, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Other regions like Lucknow, Kolkata, Chennai, etc have also suffered from partial downtime as well.

How users are affected

As per the reports on the Downdetector platform and posts on social media platform X, users are facing several issues. This includes dropped calls, slow internet speeds and complete connectivity loss.

Airtel’s acknowledgement

Airtel, as of now, has not acknowledged the ongoing outage of its telecom and broadband services. Neither the telecom service provider has issued any official statement on this. Also, we don’t know what caused the outage.

Resolution

As of now, there’s no resolution available. There’s no timeline available on when these issues will get resolved. One option you have is to use another telecom service until things get fixed.
