After Spotify, ChatGPT wrap goes live: Here’s how to make yours in seconds

ChatGPT

First, Spotify Wrapped took over everyone’s feeds. Now ChatGPT has joined the year end party with its own version called ChatGPT Wrapped. It is playful, personal and slightly embarrassing in the best way because it turns all your curious, chaotic and late night chats into a neat little story about who you were as a user this year.

ChatGPT Wrapped is basically your chat diary, but with glitter. It looks at the way you talk to the chatbot and turns it into a fun snapshot. You might get a summary of your most repeated question style, the topics you just cannot stay away from or a one line chat personality that feels a little too honest. It is the kind of review that makes you smile and also makes you wonder why you asked twelve questions about the same phone launch.

Here is the part you are looking for: how to make your ChatGPT Wrapped in seconds. You do not need anything fancy. You simply open the ChatGPT app or go to chat.openai.com and sign in. Make sure you are on the account where all your chats live and that your chat history is turned on. Then go to the chat box and type this exact line: Make me a ChatGPT Wrapped summary like a Spotify Wrapped showing my usage this year. Press Enter. That is literally it. ChatGPT will take a quick look at your past conversations and return with your personalised Wrapped. It usually includes your top topics, the question types you love, phrases you repeat and one defining line that captures your whole vibe.

If you want to go deeper, you can ask it to break everything down by the month or show your top five topics with example questions. You can even ask it to write captions or create carousel friendly posts if you want to share your Wrapped on social media.

There is one small thing to know. ChatGPT can only create a real Wrapped if its memory setting is on. Without that, it cannot pull in your usage history. But even then you are not left out. You can ask for a playful made up version. Just type: Make me a fictional Wrapped.

Whether it is real or fictional, the final result feels like a cheerful mirror held up to your chat habits. It is fun, fast and a reminder of just how many times you asked the chatbot for help with headlines.
