Paris Olympics Day 12 India schedule: Mirabai Chanu targets glory, Avinash Sable competes in steeplechase final

On Day 12, India once again will have shot at medals with the spotlight mostly on Manipuri weightlifter Saikhom Mirabai Chanu. She takes part in the Women's 49kg division and will hope to repeat her feat from Tokyo 2020.

Meanwhile, if we switch focus to athletics, Annu Rani will be leading India in the women's javelin throw qualification. Another emerging star to look out for is Jyothi Yarraji, who takes part in the women's 100m hurdles.

Avinash Sable after finishing fifth in his respective heat earlier in the week will hope for an even better outing on Wednesday as he takes part in the men's 3000m steeplechase final.

The Indian women's table tennis team comprising Manika Batra, Sreeja Akula, and Archana Girish Kamath will take on Germany in the quarterfinal. The girls had clinched a 3-2 win against Romania earlier this week.
