What is even more noteworthy is the decline in his touches inside the opposition’s box. This has gone down from 9.6 per 90 minutes last season to just 5.5 in the ongoing one. The least he has ever averaged in a full season since joining Liverpool is 8.5, which was his first season at the club. (AP Photo)
The dip in form has caught up with Salah in dribbling, too. He attempted 3.5 dribbles per 90 minutes with a success rate of 39.3 percent in all competitions last season. However, in 10 matches this season, Salah has attempted just 1.6 dribbles per 90 minutes, with a success rate of only 20 percent. (Photo- Reuters)
