While RCB will hope for a repeat, CSK will look to spoil the party in Bengaluru and bring some relief to other franchises below Bengaluru, who are also in contention.
However, ahead of the blockbuster meeting between India's most talismanic cricketers - Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni - weather is predicted to play a major spoilsport on Saturday evening.

As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there are high chances of rain or thundershowers happening in the afternoon or evening on Saturday. The temperature is expected to hover around 21-33 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, Accuweather has predicted 43 percent chance of rain and 26 percent chance of thunderstorms in the city. The cloud cover is expected to be 93 percent in the night. These are all ominous signs for a cricketing event and fans shouldn't be surprised if the match is hindered by rain.
CSK also shared a video on social media, which showed players rushing towards the dressing room as the city witnessed drizzle during the training session.

If rain forces the match to be forfeited both teams will share a point each. Despite this RCB will still climb to the top of the table, as it will take them to 15 points.
Mumbai Indians currently hold the pole position with 14 points from 11 encounters and are followed by Gujarat Titans, who have the same number of points but have played one less match.
The fourth position is occupied by Punjab Kings, who have 13 points from 10 encounters.
