Why is Jasprit Bumrah regarded as the best in business? The answer to that is the fourth delivery of the 14th over of Gujarat Titans' (GT) run chase against Mumbai Indians (MI) in Eliminator at Mullanpur. With GT running the show despite Mumbai piling a staggering 228/5, Bumrah was handed a massive task to hand his side a wicket. And there are hardly any instances when Bumrah hasn't delivered and he did exactly the same on Friday.
The pacer nailed a perfect yorker, which sent Washington Sundar, then batting on 48, on the floor as the ball passed between his legs and knocked the stumps. Bumrah's unplayable delivery brought an end to 84-run stand between Sundar and Sai Sudharsan, which had started to appear threatening.
The wicket reduced GT to 151/3 in 13.4 overs, still enough runs on the board for Mumbai to trigger a shift in momentum. The moment also sent social media into a meltdown with many branding Bumrah as the ultimate G.O.A.T. Here are a few reactions:

The breakthrough by Bumrah acted as a catalyst for Mumbai, who then crumbled the GT chase, both by striking wickets and checking the run-flow.
Sudharsan, who led most of the show for GT, was shortly dismissed after the breakthrough. The opener, who currently holds the Orange Cap, was castled for 80(49), losing his wicket while attempting a scoop against a low full-toss by Richard Gleeson behind the wicket-keeper. Sherfane Rutherford too was dismissed soon after as the impact substitute managed 24 off 15 balls.
GT, who once appeared well on course towards completing the 229 climb, were eventually blocked at 220/8 in 20 overs, thus conceding the match by 20 runs. The outcome also helped MI set a date with Punjab Kings in Qualifier 2, which will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
