IPL 2024 RR vs LSG Key Moments: Rajasthan Royals beat Lucknow SuperGiants by 20 runs

Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson’s 82 not out and Riyan Parag 43 helped RR post a score which made LSG struggle to chase. Chasing 194, LSG lost quick wickets at the start and fell short of 20 runs of RR’s score at Jaipur.

Sanju Samson led the batting for Rajasthan Royals which got support from Riyan Parag and consolidated the innings to make 193/4 in their 20 overs.

LSG started their chase but stumbled at the beginning of the innings to lose 3 wickets in just 11 runs. KL Rahul remained spectator of falling wickets at the other end.

Boult and Burger bowled good spells and took wickets in the early phase of LSG chase. At the end of the innings, Rahul and Pooran tried their best but Rahul got out at 58 and Pooran didn’t get any support from the other end.

As a result, Lucknow fell short of 20 runs in their chase and Rajasthan Royals registered their first victory securing 2 points in the IPL 2024.
