The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Friday announced the dates for the three-match ODI and as many T20I series against India in August-September 2026. Both nations were set to face each other in 2025 but it was postponed.
"The series that was postponed earlier between Bangladesh and India has been rescheduled," Shahriar Nafees, BCB cricket operation in-charge, was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.
As mentioned in the report, the Men In Blue will land in Bangladesh on August 28 and the tour will get underway with the ODIs. The three matches will take place on September 1, 3 and 6. The T20Is will be played on September 9, 12 and 13.
BCB announced Bangladesh's home international schedule for the 2026 season on Friday. The country will engage in bilateral series against Pakistan, New Zealand, India, Australia and the West Indies across the three formats.
"The confirmed itinerary ensures a season full of international cricket in Bangladesh, providing supporters across the country the opportunity to watch top-level cricket at home while details of match venues will be announced in due course," BCB said in a statement.
The series between the two last year was postponed after mutual agreement between the cricket boards of both countries. "This decision has been reached following discussions between the two Boards, taking into account the international cricketing commitments and scheduling convenience of both teams," BCCI said in an official statement.
