April 23–24: Earthshine mornings
Earthshine, a reflection of sunlight from our planet, will make the unilluminated area of the Moon glow faintly during the Waxing Crescent Moon phase. The Moon looks beautifully lit against the dawn sky because of this effect, which is occasionally called Da Vinci Glow.
April 27: The Super New Moon
