India is making waves in the global space arena. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is unstoppable. Since 2014, ISRO has launched 390 satellites for 34 countries. ISRO has become a symbol of reliability and innovation.

Every mission showcases India’s growing expertise in space technology. Countries worldwide are increasingly turning to India for satellite launches. Its rockets are praised for precision, efficiency and affordability. The agency’s global reputation continues to rise year after year.

A Space Partner the World Trusts

India’s space agency is proving its technological reliability. Foreign nations now increasingly rely on ISRO for satellite launches. Cost-effective and precise missions attract clients from around the globe.

Each launch demonstrates India’s growing capabilities in orbital mechanics. Small, medium and large satellites all reach intended orbits efficiently. ISRO’s polar satellite launch vehicle has become particularly famous.

The Numbers That Speak Volumes

390 satellites in under a decade is remarkable indeed. 34 countries trusted India’s rockets to deliver their payloads. This positions India as a leader in commercial space services. It also boosts India’s reputation in scientific and technical expertise.

ISRO Sets World Record by Launching 104 Satellites at Once

ISRO’s most historic mission took place in 2017, when it launched 104 satellites in a single mission, setting a world record. This mission not only demonstrated India’s technical capability but also boosted the credibility of India’s space services among international client countries.

India Achieves Success in Space Docking

At the beginning of 2025, India achieved 4th place globally in space docking. Space docking is the process of precisely connecting two spacecraft in orbit so that they can function as a single unit.

ISRO’s PSLV-C60 (Spadex mission), two small satellites—SDX-01 and SDX-02 were launched on 30 December 2024. Their successful docking was completed on 16 January 2025. This achievement opened new dimensions for India in space technology.

Where ISRO Stands Globally

With 100 launches, India is now among the top 5 spacefaring nations. Only the USA, Russia, China and Europe have achieved comparable numbers. This milestone shows India’s growing capability and reliability in space missions worldwide.

In recent years, ISRO has significantly increased its international collaborations and launch services for foreign clients. This has boosted both the reliability and global demand for India’s space technology.
