The National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Boeing Starliner has successfully completed its journey from the Cape Canaveral Space Station in Florida to the International Space Station (ISS). The spacecraft carried two seasoned NASA astronauts, Sunita Williams and her crewmate Butch Wilmore. Notably, Williams piloted the craft, marking a historic milestone as the first female astronaut to pilot a crewed spacecraft on its maiden voyage.
The mission has captivated social media, with numerous visuals circulating from the spacecraft's launch to its docking at the ISS. One particularly heartwarming video captures Williams' reaction upon reaching the ISS. The video shows her dancing with joy and embracing the astronauts already aboard the space station.
NASA shared the video on X, formerly known as Twitter, with the caption: "That feeling when you're back on the station! Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams are greeted by the space station crew after Boeing Space Starliner's first crewed journey from Earth."
The video opens with Williams entering the ISS through the forward-facing port of the Harmony module. As soon as she steps inside, she starts dancing with joy, her face lit up with a broad smile. She then warmly hugs the astronauts who welcomed her aboard.
