NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory is tracking asteroid 2025 CR. The space rock will fly past Earth without posing any danger. Scientists continue to study such objects to learn more about space.

Asteroid's Approach and Speed

Asteroid 2025 CR is about 93 feet wide. It will pass Earth at a safe distance of 3.09 million miles. This is more than five times the distance to the Moon. The asteroid will be moving at 22,663 miles per hour. Its closest approach is expected at 22:04 IST.

Near-Earth objects (NEOs) are celestial bodies that pass close to Earth. Understanding them helps scientists learn about the solar system. It also aids in assessing potential impact risks.

NASA tracks NEOs using radar and space missions. Projects like OSIRIS-REx collect asteroid samples for research. These studies improve planetary defence strategies for the future.

As asteroid 2025 CR passes safely, NASA remains watchful. Scientists will continue tracking objects that come near Earth.
