Alien civilizations can be invisible due to advanced AI- Here is what study says

Researchers are considering the fact that there might be already the presence of very developed aliens civilizations which are out of reach of the humans. This theory is based on an assumption. The technology progression may make other civilizations become invisible to our existing observation.

AI Communication with Future

Scientists indicate that the civilization that will be based on the artificial intelligence (AI) may be able to use communication technology. This AI communication will be far beyond human capabilities. The signals that are sent through the neutrinos or quantum networks or other exotic mechanisms will be undetectable by our radio telescopes and other mainstream detection devices.

This concept revisits Carl Sagan's 1970s-era idea of a "communication horizon".  This concept proposed that as civilizations evolve technologically, their methods of communication could become undetectable to us.

Fermi Paradox 

The theory provides a possible answer to the Fermi Paradox, which dates back a long time. Although it is most likely that many habitable worlds exist in the galaxy, signs of any extraterrestrial life have not been found.
