Yamuna Chhath is a significant Hindu festival primarily observed in Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. This day marks the divine descent of Goddess Yamuna on Earth, making it a sacred occasion for devotees. Also known as Yamuna Jayanti, this festival is celebrated on Shukla Paksha Shashthi in the Chaitra month, coinciding with Chaitra Navratri. It will be celebrated on Thursday, April 3, 2025.
