Sacred Abhishek and Rituals

Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra, confirmed that the 'Abhishek' of Ram Lalla will take place in the morning. Following this, 'Shringar' will be performed to adorn the deity. One of the most awaited moments of the celebration will be the ‘Surya Tilak’, a ritual where sunlight will be directed onto the forehead of Ram Lalla for four minutes. This rare and divine sight will be broadcast globally by Doordarshan, allowing devotees from all over the world to witness the sacred event.

Grand Ramkot Parikrama

Preparations for the Ramkot Parikrama, a significant spiritual procession, were finalized on March 27 in a meeting attended by saints and religious leaders. The Parikrama involves the circumambulation of the Ramkot area in Ayodhya, which is considered the classical boundary of Ram Lalla. Devotees and saints will take part in this holy journey, praying for the well-being of society and the nation.

Adding grandeur to the occasion, 21 vibrant tableaux will be part of a special procession. These will depict scenes from the Ram temple, along with portrayals of historical and spiritual icons such as Maharana Pratap and Sant Ravidas. The procession aims to showcase Ayodhya’s rich cultural and religious heritage.
