Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the grand Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj on February 5, as per sources. The Maha Kumbh, one of the world’s largest spiritual gatherings, has already drawn millions of pilgrims and is set to host prominent leaders in the coming weeks.

The Prime Minister's visit is expected to include a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mystical Saraswati rivers. Preparations are underway to ensure smooth arrangements and high-level security for his visit.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to attend the Maha Kumbh on January 27. During his visit, Shah will take a holy dip at the Sangam, perform Ganga Puja, and meet with local officials to review event management. Security measures are being tightened across key locations in Prayagraj to ensure his safety.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will also grace the Maha Kumbh on February 1. He is set to take a ceremonial holy dip at the Sangam, highlighting the spiritual and cultural significance of the event.

Adding to the list of high-profile visits, President Droupadi Murmu is expected in Prayagraj on February 10. She will participate in various events and interact with officials to observe the functioning of this massive congregation.

The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, which began on January 13, has already witnessed an extraordinary influx of devotees. Over 88.1 million people have taken a holy dip at the Sangam as of January 20. On January 19 alone, approximately 1.597 million pilgrims bathed in the sacred waters.

Authorities in Uttar Pradesh are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the event's success. Enhanced security measures, efficient crowd management, and infrastructural upgrades have been implemented to accommodate the massive footfall. Special surveillance systems have been installed at key intersections and event venues to maintain order during high-profile visits.

Despite dense fog and chilly weather conditions, the enthusiasm of the devotees remains undeterred, as seen in their continued participation in this sacred event.

The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 will run until February 26, culminating on Maha Shivaratri. This once-in-12-years gathering serves as a testament to India’s rich spiritual heritage and unity, drawing millions from around the globe.
