Mahakumbh Maghi Purnima Snan 2025 is set to take place on February 12 in Prayagraj. Anticipating a massive influx of devotees on Wednesday, the Prayagraj administration has enforced strict traffic restrictions across the Mahakumbh Mela area. To ensure smooth movement and the safety of pilgrims, a no-vehicle zone has been declared within the Mahakumbh fairgrounds.

1. No Vehicle Zone: The entire Maha Kumbh fair area will be a no-vehicle zone starting 4:00 AM on February 11, with only essential and emergency services allowed entry. This measure is to prevent congestion and ensure unhindered access for pilgrims.

2. Parking Arrangements: Devotees traveling to Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh bath must park their vehicles at designated parking lots outside the fair area after 4:00 AM on February 11. No private vehicles will be allowed beyond this point.
3. Citywide Restrictions: In addition to the fairground restrictions, a no-vehicle rule will be enforced across Prayagraj city from 5:00 PM on February 11. Only essential and emergency vehicles will be exempt from this rule.
4. Duration of Restrictions: These traffic arrangements will remain in effect throughout February 12, ensuring an orderly evacuation of devotees once the bathing rituals conclude.
5. Kalpvasis Also Covered: The no-vehicle policy applies not only to visiting devotees but also to Kalpvasis, who traditionally reside at the Kumbh for an extended religious stay.
