The origins of Naraka Chaturdashi are rooted in the legend of Lord Krishna. It is said that on this day, Lord Krishna, alongside his wife Satyabhama, defeated the demon Narakasura. After the battle, Lord Krishna took an oil bath during the Brahma Muhurat, a time considered highly auspicious.
