LG unveils Twin Wash washing machine

LG’s Twin Wash washing machine is most definitely the laundry innovation of the year. LG’s latest feather in the cap is the Twin Wash washing machine which offers a revolutionary way to wash multiple loads. This first of its kind innovative technology enables the consumer to wash two separate loads at the same time — now, the consumers can handle big loads (like the king-size beddings in one), and at the same time wash their delicates (workout wear etc) in the other mini washer at the bottom. The new mini washer is the heart of the machine that sits underneath. The machine has a capacity of 21 kgs, the biggest capacity in the Indian market till now. The 3.5 kg mini washer maximizes the total capacity to 24.5 kg. Special features include the TurboWash 2.0 which ensures your clothes are washed within 39 minutes. The near field communication tag (NFC) on the machine translates to an array of intriguing smart connectivity options, making it a futuristic product for smart homes. Users can download pre-programmed wash cycles to their smart phones and then activate them by simply touching their smart phone to the washing machine’s NFC Tag On symbol. All LG washers are high-efficient with the world’s first six motion direct drive technology that reduces energy costs and water usage with every load, as compared to conventional washers. Apart from the luxurious design and elegance, the premium ergonomic design of the LG Twin Wash gives the washing machine a tilt at a six degree angle making it more accessible to users. The newly designed sliding detergent box at the top reduces the likelihood of messy detergent spills too. The product comes with a 10 year warranty on its inverter direct drive motor, and is priced at ` 2,06,000.
