Hands opens largest store in New Delhi

Hands has opened India’s largest store for hand-crafted carpets at Sultanpur, MG Road, Delhi. Comprising of three floors and spread over an area of 11,000 sq ft, a total of 1,500 hand-tufted and hand-knotted carpets of various designs and finishes covering traditional, transitional, contemporary and art deco styles are on display. The store also showcases special edition carpets like Dali Rose (a tribute to artist Salvador Dali); and the unique hand-knotted wool carpet with 4,500 knots per square inch, which took 13 long years to complete by a family of craftsmen from Bhadohi in Uttar Pradesh.
