It grows dozens of plants at once in multiple varieties and sizes from a space no bigger than a typical chair. One may use seeds directly or buy saplings from a nursery as Altifarm ships with no soil or seeds included. It’s built-in self watering system takes care of automated watering of plants while using upto 80 per cent less water with no user intervention, while it’s optional Growlight pack provides the required light wavelengths for indoor use in the absence of sunlight. Enverde is a startup specializing in urban farming, with a vision to make families around the world self-reliant with respect to food. Altifarm is their first product and it has been in development for almost three years. Altifarm will be available for purchase in January 2017 at a suggested price of ` 11,999 for a four-tier unit.
