Tech billionaire Elon Musk said he "fully" endorsed Donald Trump after the Republican presidential candidate was rushed bleeding from the stage of a rally in Pennsylvania after an apparent shooting.
"I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery," Musk wrote on X, which he owns along with carmaker Tesla, as he shared a video of Trump pumping his fist while being escorted away by Secret Service officials.
In another tweet, Musk wrote:

"The former president is safe," the Secret Service said in a post on X.
Donald Trump was rushed off stage smeared in blood after a series of gunshots were fired at a campaign rally on Saturday in Pennsylvania.

Trump reached for his right ear as the gunfire started, looked down at it, and then fell to his knees behind the platform, where Secret Service members quickly surrounded and covered him. After he had been out for about a minute, he knocked off his red "Make America Great Again" hat and was heard saying, "Wait, wait," before he was led by agents into a waiting car.

Donald Trump gave his first account of being shot at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, saying "I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear."
"I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin," Trump, who was not seriously injured, said on his Truth Social site.
