Cotlook raised its forecast for global cotton production in the 2016/17 by 70,000 tonnes from its earlier estimate on higher expectation for crops in the United States and African countries in a monthly forecast. Cotlook lowered the outlook for total demand by 169,000 tons amid lower expectations for consumption in Vietnam.By: Skymetweather.com
